Kitchen volunteers help to package meals. Prep food and package into meal containers. No cooking required. Most volunteers work one day a week and work from 6:30 - 10:30. Later hours can be used as well if you cannot make the earlier hours. Kitchen employee trains and organizes volunteers. REWARD: Knowing your are preparing meals for the homebound. Come join us to take care of the homebound of our community. "Together we can Deliver"

Description
Meals on Wheels of Polk County delivers 200 meals a day Monday-Friday. We have 250 volunteers that deliver meals, prepare food in the kitchen and work in our Thrift Store. We have 20 routes that deliver to Winter Haven, Lakeland, Auburndale, Haines City and Davenport.
