This opportunity allows individuals to work closely with our bereavement coordinator by assisting with phone calls to family members who have lost their loved ones. Other bereavement opportunities include participating in ongoing bereavement support (groups or individuals) as well as celebration of life (memorial) services. Bereavement volunteers also visit grieving family members to provide a listening ear, uplifting support and assistance with the grief process.
Ongoing training and guidance are provided to the bereavement volunteers to enhance their experience and the support they offer to bereaved families.

3221 N Toben, Wichita, KS 67226, US
Traditions Health (Serenity Hospice Care) will provide home to patients by helping them transition successfully when the focus of care must change from cure to comfort. Our experienced team will empower patients and families by emphasizing the treatment of the person and not the disease. Serenity will be a source of strength and expertise, providing uniquely tailored services for the mind, body and spirit.
Traditions Health (Serenity Hospice Care) is a national company. Alongside its sister company, Traditions Home Health (Serenity Home Health), we believe that clear, consistent, accessible communication is key to personalizing our services, which enable us to provide the compassionate palliative care and support that our patients and their caregivers deserve.
Traditions Health (Serenity Hospice) team has extensive hospice knowledge and experience, as well as reputation for patient centered care. Our advanced technology results in the best clinical outcomes and clearer communication. And we never forget the ultimate value of humanity: The most powerful resource at out disposal is the compassion and dignity that only a caring person can give to another.
