MultiCare is committed to providing quality patient care and is seeking volunteers to provide a warm welcome and assistance at the Information Desk. Help our patients have stress-free healthcare visits by joining our Info Desk team!
Position: Information Desk Volunteer
Duties include:
- Greet patients and visitors at the entrance of clinic.
- Support patients and families by helping them find the location where they are receiving services.
- Provide guidance to visitors for coffee, cafeteria, etc.
- Call departments to secure wheelchair assistance for patients as needed.
- Provide information about where a patient can wait for Paratransit service or family pick-up.
Days/Times:
Shifts available Monday - Friday, 12pm - 4pm
Location:
Baker Center (across the street from Tacoma General Hospital)

What is needed:
- Must commit to a regular weekly schedule, one day per week for a 4-hour shift
- A pleasant and professional manner
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Able to use discretion and good judgment
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Pass a criminal background check
