We are seeking dedicated, low-risk groups and individuals to assist in the upkeep of the South Sound Reading Foundation's children's book storage! Please make sure you are low-risk for COVID-19, as several other people will be in the office at one time. Masks must be worn and social distancing regulations must be followed.
Tasks include:
- Counting book donations
- Cleaning and sticker-ing books
- Sorting/shelving books

Mission Statement
In an effort to increase the number of children prepared to learn, read, and succeed, the South Sound Reading Foundation exists to ensure that every child is read with or is reading at least 20 minutes a day. Reading just 20 minutes a day promotes healthy brain development, family bonding and school readiness all children need to read and succeed.
Description
We educate and remind children, youth and families about the importance of reading and we strive to get books into every home and into the hands of every child so they have the tools they need to read and succeed. Each year we distribute over 40,000 books!
