ASPIRE is a one-on-one mentoring program providing resources and encouragement for all students
to access education options after high school. The ASPIRE program at Bend Tech Academy is
seeking volunteers interested in helping teens in our community plan for their futures. Volunteer time
is flexible, we just ask that volunteers be consistent. You will be instrumental in helping students
develop their post-high school plan and guide them through the process of planning and securing
education after high school.
All applicants are carefully screened using personal references and criminal background checks.
For more information, call: Christin Sands at 541-355-3513
As an ASPIRE mentor, you will play a unique role in the life of a student as you help guide and assist them in pursuing education and training beyond high school.
Mentoring students fosters their interest in education/training beyond high school, improves classroom attendance, increases academic performance, and gives students hope for their future. Successful mentors have an interest in working with youth, are reliable and consistent, follow programs policies and procedures, and bring enthusiasm to the role.
