ONLINE TUTORING ADAPTATION OVERVIEW:
Our office has had to close due to covid-19. An individual at a low literacy level with less education and income is at risk of not being able to keep up with the growing demands and use of technologies necessary for work, education and personal use during this emergency situation. Technology can be difficult for learners who are challenged to not only become literate, but are struggling to be digitally literate in today’s world where society now requires digital knowledge, skills and behaviors to function in everyday life. Part of providing our learners with the best possible education is providing them with the functional skills necessary to be autonomous citizens, preparing them not only for the workforce but for the world outside and providing them with the necessary digital literacies for everyday life skills.
