Sewing help urgently needed for Memory Bears
ORGANIZATION: Arbor Hospice - Ann Arbor
Please visit the new page to apply.
Volunteers with sewing skills are needed to sew Memory Bears. A Memory Bear is sewn from the clothing of the individual who has passed away. The bear is then given to the grieving family as a cherished treasure in their loved one's memory. Hospice of Michigan provides the materials and the pattern, you provide the caring and skill that goes in to making each Memory Bear. Join our dedicated and caring group of sewers while helping families to preserve their memories.
Volunteers will need their own sewing machine to participate. We have developed a strict contactless protocol for pick-up and drop-off of materials, for your safety.
Please contact Alana Knoppow at aknoppow@hom.org or at 248-303-6818. Thank you for your support!
