Role Summary:

We are looking for a professional Instructional Designer to design and develop learning and practicing experiences. If you are someone who enjoys teaching others and sharing their knowledge then this role is for you.

Essential Tasks:

  • Plans instructional design projects.
  • Manages overall projects to ensure a globally consistent training experience
  • Consults, analyzes, and develops highly engaging and interactive learning solutions focused on leadership development, but not excluding varying colleague initiatives.
  • Applies advanced adult learning theories into practical, application-based leadership learning strategy
  • Communicates effectively in visual, oral, and written form and delivers engaging presentations to business leaders.
  • Acquires and applies new technology skills to instructional design practice.
  • Remains a thought leader in instructional design and innovation.
  • Designs learning that reflects an understanding of the diversity of learners, including the demonstrated understanding of cultural differences that may apply.
  • Partners and collaborates with other departments to pilot or implement initiatives that require learning professional support.

Skills & Competencies:

  • High energy, maturity, and leadership with the ability to serve as a unifying force for all communication efforts.
  • Sincere commitment to work collaborating with all constituent groups, volunteers, donors, program participants, and other supporters.
  • Self-starter, able to work virtually, independently, enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives.
  • Comfortable working in a startup phase non-profit organization.

Learning Strategies , Instructing, Active Listening,Coordination,Critical Thinking , Judgment and Decision Making, Monitoring, Social Perceptiveness, Writing, Persuasion Time Management , Complex Problem Solving, Service Orientation, Systems Analysis, Systems Evaluation, Operations Analysis and Negotiation.

Knowledge of LMS, e-learning content authoring tools, microsoft office and google suite.
