Description

Work one-on-one with Kearns Jr. High students who need a little extra support in math!

Purpose

Students who are at grade level math in 8th grade are more likely to graduate and go on to a post-secondary opportunity after high school.

Role

Volunteers will each meet virtually one-on-one with two students for a 30 minute session each on Thursdays from 8:30-9:30 a.m. The students will be working on a virtual math platform and volunteers will support them as they work through problems.
