WHAT: Help research historical figures of the past and present to help L.A. Works recreate the march on washington within our virtual Minecraft world. VOLUNTEER ACTIVITY: If you’re interested in deep dives of historical figures this is the project for you! Volunteer researchers will help curate a list of figures of past and present alongside other volunteers to help develop a reference point in our Minecraft recreation of the march on washington. IMPACT: Program NPC's to help educate our volunteers about their lives and the impacts that their actions had on our world. We will be sharing this world with LAUSD schools and sharing on that Minecraft Marketplace so others around LA & the world will be educated on the important civil right events that happened during the march on washington.
