Passionate about serving veterans? Enjoy the feeling of serving those who have so selflessly served us! Join us at Neighborly Care Network/Meals on Wheels Pinellas County to pack and/or deliver meals to formerly homeless veterans now living in transitional housing (hotels) throughout the county.

Assignments:
Packers: Meals (pre-packaged) must be packed in insulated tote bags prior to delivery. Delivery volunteers: Volunteers are needed to make deliveries to vets, joining with a Neighborly driver on a Neighborly bus (these volunteers do not drive rather ride to the hotels and make deliveries there). Delivery volunteers must be able to use a mobile device, have good people skills, and be able to push/pull carts with meals. Some hotels do not have elevators so stairs must be taken.

  • Meal packers: Wednesdays only from 8-9am
  • Delivery volunteers: Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30-11:30am
This volunteer opportunity is available at our administrative office only located at 13945 Evergreen Avenue, Clearwater, FL 33762.
