We Need: MATH TUTORS, SCIENCE TUTORS, SAT/ACT PREP TUTORS, READING/PHONICS TUTORS, ENGLISH TUTORS, HISTORY TUTORS, ESSAY WRITING, & COLLEGE ADMISSIONS ESSAY TUTORS for Grades K-12.

Requirements to be a Volunteer Academic Tutor are as follows:

  • Must be a US Citizen or Legal Resident.
  • Must have a completed background check.
  • Must have a flexible schedule to tutor student online.
  • Must have a computer/laptop with access to internet.
  • High School applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 to Tutor. (unofficial transcripts required.)
  • College or Graduate applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to Tutor. (unofficial transcripts required.)
  • Ability to work effectively and patiently with elementary, middle, or high school age groups.
  • Must Complete The Volunteer Onboarding Process, Agree And Comply With Olive Tree Tutorings' Volunteer Code Of Ethics, Policies.

Responsibility of a Volunteer Tutor:

  • Schedule and Host Tutoring Sessions on our PEARL online tutoring platform.
  • Maintain A Personal Weekly Agenda For Sessions.
  • Complete Post Session Surveys. (4-question scale rating survey that gives us insight on how sessions are going.)

Our Holistic Tutoring program offers online 1-on-1 Academic Tutoring and Youth Mentoring Services. Students in grades K-12 can get tutoring in all major subject areas as well as SAT/ACT Exam Prep, Georgia Milestone Assessment, Spanish, College Admission Essay and More! Our Youth Mentoring Services are Free to the community and we keep our tutoring services at a low cost for any income size family to afford. Our tutoring fee pays for business operations, development, tutor resources and marketing. If you're a retired teacher, college or high school student, or a working professional looking for a way to give back to your community, Olive Tree Tutoring is a great place to start and build your credentials!
