Help your community be prepared for and recover from disaster. This is a great way to build your resume, learn new skills, gain leadership experience and learn your community. Responsiblities for this position include:
- Works with community recovery partners to plan for community recovery needs and long term
recovery activities. - Represents the Red Cross and works with Long Term Recovery Groups, local COAD groups
(Community Organizations Active in Disaster), local government, community leadership groups,
private companies, and/or non-profit partners in recovery. - Provides recovery partners with a Community Recovery Assessment (when applicable) in the event a
disaster makes a significant impact on the community and/or has long term recovery activities.
