ORGANIZATION: Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Boston

  • 3 people are interested

Seeking a Big Brother who is outgoing and athletic for Brian, an 11 year old boy, who has "nothing he doesn't like to do" including skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, biking, skating, going to trampoline parks and building with legos! He loves football, both playing and watching, and also enjoys basketball, baseball, mini golfing, swimming and playing board games. The ideal Big would be outgoing and talkative, funny, adventurous and someone who would like to go hiking and fishing.

Brian and his younger brother are being raised by a single mom. He does not have a father or male role model in his life and is hoping to be matched soon with a great person. He would really like a Big Brother (age 21-45) who is outgoing and interested in doing lots of activities in the community.

The right volunteer will be a young man from any religion, ethnicity or background, who likes sports and would enjoy hanging out and doing activities with a "great kid." Matches meet twice a month for a couple of hours, mostly on the weekends, and make a year commitment. Match support is provided by Clinical Match Specialists.
