Mission Statement
The mission of LMTS Outreach Community Services is to create a welcoming, supportive center that reduces barriers by providing services that aids in supporting life's needs and encourages self-sufficiency.
Description
LMTS Community Outreach Services was founded by Pastor Larry Trice, Sr., whose vision for the Center was to be a safe haven for all people.
LMTS touches people in the Lansing Area with programs such as but not limited to the pantry of choice, Southside barbecue & backpack giveaway, 500 Mobile Turkey Box giveaway, the mobile 2000 gift, and 200 gas card giveaway, and the Carol Ramsey Community Feeding. We are a referral agent for those who need housing and utility assistance. We give gift cards to families in need during Christmas.
We also host the Carol Ramsey Community Feeding. The daily operations are centered on the food pantry. There are several different distribution methods including in person, on the sidewalk, at the church, delivery, and mobile food pantry. LMTS has a Career Clothes Closet and we network with employment agencies, schools, and other organizations to solicit both donations and clients.
