In the wake of Covid-19, many families involved in Stars lost their jobs or had a reduction in hours. In response, Stars created a new program - Stars to Go. We purchase and receive donated healthy groceries to distribute to families of Stars so that they don't have to worry about food expenses. Volunteers help unload grocery trucks, breakdown bulk items, put together bags of groceries and distribute to families. Volunteer opportunities change quickly, but the usual biggest need we have is on Tuesday mornings at 9am to unload the truck, followed by various shifts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
