Bring your passion for women's leadership and your stellar writing and communication skills to this opportunity!

50/50 Leadership is a volunteer based nonprofit committed to empowering, educating, and inspiring women from all walks of life to become leaders in their careers and communities.

50/50 Leadership has programs providing financial literacy and mentoring to young women who grew up in foster care, have been homeless, incarcerated, or survived domestic violence. We also produce monthly events on a variety of topics of interest to women.

Our fundraising team is growing and we are looking for a cohort of people who are ready to learn and stretch and be challenged to gain new sponsors, donors and the creation of other fundraising opportunities. You will be asked to do research, to create compelling copy, and most importantly, to make phone calls to prospective donors and sponsors. If you know you are great at building relationships and you are ready to challenge yourself, then come grow with us.

We are a vibrant group. Interested? Please go to VolunteerMark.com/5050-leadership and apply.

Mission Statement

50/50 Leadership is committed to Empowering, Educating, and Inspiring women from all walks of life to become Leaders in their careers and communities. Make a difference.

Description

Established in 2004, we provide financial literacy programs to young women who have grown up in foster care, been incarcerated, been unhoused, and/or survived gender-based violence. In the past, we led leadership training programs and honored women who are making a difference around the world.

We feel that every girl and woman should have the opportunity to realize their leadership potential. Whether they are a leader in their home, at work, school or in the community.

We are women and men from all walks of life who agree that leadership should reflect the gender of the population: women make up more than half of the U.S. population and should be equally included in boardrooms, elected offices, academia, and all public and private enterprises and endeavors.
