The American Red Cross collects millions of units of blood each year, provides assistance to people affected by home fires and other disasters, trains thousands of people in lifesaving CPR, provides services to military members, veterans, and their families, and a lot more. We use a variety of computer systems to help with this work.
As the leader of the Regional Application Support Team, you will ensure that our applications are being utilized the best they can be to deliver our mission. You will support the RAST team by providing overall management of IT regional support activities, work with RAST members to maintain their training requirements and serve as a subject matter expert, and support team members in implementing new applications or updating existing applications.
All of this work can be done remotely, and the time commitment would range from 15-20 hours per month.
Qualifications:
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Facility with using mobile and desktop technology
- Enthusiasm about using technology to improve delivery of services to Red Cross clients
- Ability to coach others on the use of technology
- Experience with or ability to learn remote collaboration tools and platforms
