Assistance is needed at a food pantry in Franklin to pick up donated items the same day each week, at the same store, using their own vehicle/gas. Donated items are brought to the Pantry immediately after pick-up. The food is weighed and temperatures taken. New volunteers are partnered with an experienced volunteer until they are comfortable with the process as every store has procedures for picking up donated items.
RSVP of Warren County connects people who are age 55+ to local volunteer opportunities. Once we receive your completed membership form to join RSVP, you will be connected to a representative at the volunteer site.

The RSVP Volunteer Program provides opportunities for individuals 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving at schools, museums, and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of the volunteer with opportunities to help impact the community. The program offers supplemental insurance while volunteering and training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
