HERE TO SERVE is looking for a social media copywriter to work pro bono in supporting our mission to mobilize people and resources to meet daily living requirements of families struggling with pediatric cancer who do not qualify for government assistance.

ABOUT HERE TO SERVE:

We believe a pediatric cancer diagnosis should not cause the loss of a person’s job, health, home, or cause them to enter into bankruptcy to care for their child during a medical crisis. To help mitigate this, we mobilize people and resources to meet daily living requirements of families who do not qualify for government assistance.

OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a social media copywriter to focus on social media posts and content. Create effective copy that will resonate with our audience within the pediatric cancer category. Help build our social media calendar, as well as determine sources for content generation. Will require internet research to identify content we can build upon. You will be working with the Here to Serve Executive Director, Marketing Strategist and Social Media Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Write and publish engaging posts for social media including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
• Select and/or draft graphics and videos to go along with the post
• Optimize social media posts based on our target audience’s behaviors
• Work with the internal teams to create advertising posts
• Respond to questions and comments on our social media pages
