Medical Device Engineers & Pharmacists for remote COVID Medication system

Do you want to save hundreds of lives? We are building a remote low-cost COVID-19 Treatment system consisting of a sophisticated Ventilator, an oxygen concentrator, a biometric sensor and a remote drug administration system.

The Ventilator is well on its way to being finished and is the most complicated part of the system. Its extensive sensing system allows us to gather enough data to monitor the patient's disease progression and analyse which problems might play a strong feature in this specific patient. With this information, drugs can be administered gradually, exactly when needed and cause and effects can be monitored much more precisely which will be used to learn more about the virus.

There are various options for how such a system might be realized. We are looking to build a small team of qualified people that can research the resources necessary to make decisions on the design of the remote medication system, as well as finishing both the software and the hardware of it.

We also must research the various alternatives of drugs used in most common treatment protocols in COVID-19 and find out how each of them can be administered.

Open Positions for this team:

  • Pharmacist to research possible choices of drugs (2+ years of experience, ideally knowledge of current medication protocols for COVID-19)
  • Mechanical Engineer to finalize the CAD drawings of the system and toolings for injection moulding. (must have at least developed CAD drawings that have been realized previously)
  • Software Engineer to finalize the control system (1+ years of professional fulltime C++ experience)

Our mission is to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the world's medical workforce fighting COVID-19


We are a non-profit organization building an infrastructure to develop, manufacture, distribute and operate remote-controlled ventilators and oxygen concentrators that will also gather high-resolution treatment data for scientific research and treatment optimization.
Our equipment will be distributed on a "what you can pay" basis. Our Ventilator is different from other emergency Ventilators in that it will be controllable over the Internet, with the medical professional observing the patient over a phone camera, thus reducing viral load on the medical professionals at the front line, enabling those in stable countries to help and allowing one doctor to have an overview over many patients.

Our Ventilator is now in testing and we are finalizing fine air control. Parts cost for a single unit are 300$ but will drop in mass production and bulk ordering maybe even down to 200$.

Our roadmap consists of 4 Versions which can be deployed over the internet. It is envisaged that the Ventilator will be assembled by qualified volunteers, go through centralized quality control and then distributed to places of greatest needs on an international basis. Once enough funding is raised, a part of the workload will be outsourced to specialized companies.
