RECOGNIZING THE VALUE FOR MANY VETERANS SUFFERING FROM PTSD, TBI, DEPRESSION, OR EVEN THE NORMAL DIFFICULTIES OF TRANSITIONING TO CIVILIAN LIFE. BLUE STAR IS DOING WHAT WE CAN TO MAKE SUCH THERAPY MORE ACCESSIBLE.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR PERSONS TO WORK WITH US TO CONDUCT OUTREACH ACTIVITIES IN THEIR VILLAGE OR NEIGHBORHOOD THAT WILL RESULT IN LINKING VETERANS TO art THERAPY RESOURCES SO THEY MAY BENEFIT ACCORDINGLY.
WE ARE ALSO SEEKING ART THERAPISTS TO ASSIST US WITH OUR EFFORTS TO MAKE SUCH RECREATIONAL ASSISTANCE TO VETS USING ART AS THE MEDIUM.
Promote the well being of military families especially veterans by connecting them and their organizations with one another and the general public by addressing their common interests in a collaborative manner thus enhancing the quality of life for all Americans.
CVO is headquartered in the City of Chicago and is composed of veterans organizations and allied groups supporting the well being of military families and veterans for the purpose of engaging in activities designed to maintain and improve the quality of life for these American heroes and their families who have sacrificed so much so we may all live in peace, prosperity, and good fellowship.
