The Communications Chair plays a critical role in raising awareness of the world’s toughest cancer and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) via earned media placements in their local communities. In alignment with PanCAN’s strategic goal to be the "go-to organization for pancreatic cancer," the Communications Chair has three main focuses throughout the year: PurpleStride, Advocacy Summit and November Awareness.
This role will effectively manage a Social Media Chair and Marketing, along with partnering with New Jersey Leadership team and Committee Chairs to amplify national campaign initiatives and programs.
Knowledge of the New Jersey media market a plus.
