Mission Statement
The mission of Lady T’s Homeless Ministry is to supply the physical and spiritual nutrition to the less fortune individuals that live on the streets, in the parks, behind alleys, in the woods and those that have found a place in the battered women, children and men’s shelters. Our objective is to give them the basic necessities of life to lift them up and encourage them.
Description
For over 23 years we have served the homeless population on the streets of Atlanta and the surrounding areas. We feed, clothe, and support 500 - 600 people on a weekly basis, we support 2 battered women & children shelters and served 75 - 125 men in the shelter a hot meal on a weekly basis. We also supply them with clothes, toiletries, home items and more.
We are a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization without state, county or federal funding. As we continue forward with our mission we are seeking volunteers with a heart for the homeless population. We are not attempting to alleviate homelessness, but provide daily basic necessities and encouragement to move forward one more day.
