Domestic Violence Event Needs Volunteers!

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, so please get involved.

We will share how domestic violence affects victims and provide LIVE resources to overcome obstacles during our "Just Listen" Campaign Forum. Overcoming the obstacles of domestic violence empowers women to move forward, find their voice, and create a self-sufficient life for themselves. This will be a safe space to share your stories. We will have interactive and collaborative activities, with music, networking, breakout rooms, special guests, vendors, giveaways, and more.

In order to do this, we need your help! Since this event is virtual we will need additional support:

1. Technical Support Volunteers with experience with Live Sessions
2. Moderators: Volunteers who can assist with facilitating break out rooms
3. Panelist #4 Lawyer with experience with Domestic Violence Cases
4. Panelist #5 Therapist/Counselor with Domestic Violence Experience working with battered women
5. 2 Actor/Actress- Preferably a couple who can do a small skit in the beginning of the event to raise awareness for domestic violence
6. Volunteers to help sell tickets and promote for the event

No matter what you have to say, your life is YOUR story to tell, when YOU choose to tell it!
