  • 20 people are interested

Patrick's Kids Foundation, Inc. (PKF) seeks to increase its social media presence and overall communications strength. To that end, PKF is seeking a volunteer to help with launching a YouTube for Nonprofits channel and to create content that shows the impact our programs makes and thanking our supporters for their help. We want to use inspiring messages to evoke emotion, highlight our story, and work as a way for prospective donors and volunteers to connect deeper to our mission. This project will have a significant part in our storytelling and help us expand our reach. Specifically, we seek a skilled video editor/videographer to choose the best pictures and video segments and make several short videos for the YouTube channel.
This project will help us get more attention to our wonderful programs and broaden our Social media and to spread your message and garner new support. We hope that you would consider embracing and adopting this worthy endeavor as your own, as we seek to create meaningful and sustainable change in the lives of underserved segments of our society in Haiti.
PKF will gather all of its photo and video assets in one place so that the volunteer can access them conveniently. We will share our desired messaging, tone, and cadence. We will work closely with the volunteer to ensure that we are providing the necessary guidance and support, while at the same time allowing the volunteer’s creativity to shine.

Description

Patrick's Kids Foundation, Inc. (PKF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation based in McDonough Georgia, that provides academic Scholarships and mentorship to the brightest students in Haiti. Education has proven to be an important catalyst to promote positive social and economic change in developing countries and serves as a dynamic tool to empower communities to shape their future. Accordingly, Early Childhood Education (ECE) is fundamental to helping Haiti achieve its full potential, as it not only serves as a developmental stepping-stone for higher education, but it also plants the seeds to cultivate a healthy community of educated members and leaders. A dynamic and educated citizenry is at the heart and the key driver of transformative development of a community. PK fundamentally believes that a robust ECE is critical to help achieve sustainable social and economic change in Fond-des-Blancs, Haiti (FDBH) and the country at large. Specifically, ECE development will help to nurture a cadre of young leaders with the tools, knowledge and expertise to leverage their resources to uplift the community. PKF manifests its commitment to ECE through a robust Scholarship and mentorship program.
