Sunnyside Community Services

  • 10 people are interested

Ordinarily, our Friendly Visiting volunteers usually visit seniors, but due to the pandemic, our volunteers are making friendly phone calls to seniors. You will be matched with one senior and call them every week.

With your phone buddy, you can:

  • Develop a friendship with a senior
  • Hear interesting stories
  • Video chat with Face Time or Zoom
  • Talk about favorite books & movies
  • Play games like chess online
  • Attend virtual workshops together
Please reach out to the program coordinator, Emma Finn, to learn more about how you can change a senior's life!

Please note that all volunteers must be over 18 years old.
