Make a difference in a senior's life by making one call a week! As a Senior Chat volunteer, you will be matched with one senior to develop a friendship by chatting over the phone.
With your phone buddy, you can:
- Develop a friendship with a senior
- Hear interesting stories
- Video chat with Face Time or Zoom
- Talk about favorite books & movies
- Play games like chess online
- Attend virtual workshops together
- Mail letters, cards, and photos

- Background Check
- Must be at least 18
- Orientation or Training
- Volunteers will be matched with one senior and will call them once per week for a minimum of six months.
- All volunteers must be over 18 years old and live in the Tri-State area. All volunteers must have a background check, provide two references, and engage in a Zoom interview with the program coordinator.
