Employment Coaches/Mentor are experienced professionals who are well-versed and informed on important resources which may be utilized to procure employment such as job fairs, online networking sites and other professional development opportunities. Mentors will work with beneficiaries who are motivated and ready to seek employment, seek better employment or get a raise in their current job . This position is also an opportunity for professional development and lifelong learning.


Coaches should have excellent communication skills as a prerequisite for this position. The duration of this commitment is flexible but it is recommended to complete at least 8 weeks of one on one meetings, or until the beneficiary finds employment (roughly two hours per week).

Description

Edu-Futuro is a non-profit organization founded in 1998 by Bolivian parents and educators to address the educational needs of the growing Latino population. We offer programs that empower immigrant families through education. We offer: the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) which is a youth leadership and college preparation program, 9-12 Grades; STEM/Robotics, upper elementary, middle school, and high school (4-12); as well as parent and family programs. And we welcome volunteers in all our programs!

REQUIREMENTS
