We are searching for a Board of Directors for a newly founded 501c serving teachers. The board needs to comprise of individuals from various backgrounds and experiences. Our most urgent needs are for those in finance, law, and community outreach, and fundraising. The term is for 2 calendar years with monthly meetings and commitment to serving on committees.

Mission Statement

Teachers LEAD offers coaching and mentoring support to teachers by modeling and fostering supportive and trusting relationships. We believe teachers need ongoing, consistent, personalized support to optimize their efficiency and performance so that all students are positively impacted.

Description

Teachers LEAD is a non-profit organization missioned to support teachers and school leaders to help increase retention. Teachers LEAD was founded in 2019 providing virtual coaching and mentoring to teachers, campus leaders, and districts. Currently, our efforts have shifted to support teachers in various ways, including celebrating teachers through this unexpected transition to and uncertainty of distance learning, but we are so much more!

We are a team of educators with experience in teaching and writing curriculum for k-12 and higher ed. Our experience spans across the US in numerous capacities. We know the importance of supporting teachers beyond curriculum development and instructional strategies.
