Youth Action Services, Inc is looking for a seasoned grant writer to support our team in writing and submitting grant proposals (RFP’s), Request for Quotes (RFQ’s), Letter of intent (LOI’s), other requests for organizational support. We are a newly 501c3 organization looking for founding members to help start this organization to better services the children and families in need.

Volunteering with Youth Action Services, Inc comes with many benefits such as being a founding member, only serious applicants should apply; once funding is attained, the volunteer will be hired as a paid employee with a yearly salary as a Grant Writer.

Responsibilities:

- Prospect new grant opportunities
- Write government and foundation grant proposals for Youth Action Services, Inc
- Write and submit reports for grants
- Collaborate with grant writing team and Founder & President to attain funding

Interviews/meeting will be held via zoom at your convenience.

Youth Action Services, Inc’s mission is to embrace and empower children in the NYC municipal shelter system by providing our participants with resources to continue on the next success level.

Description

Youth Action Services, Inc is a new 501c3 organization. Understanding Brooklyn, NY serves some of the cities poorest neighborhoods which includes high number of homelessness. I am pleased to introduce this new organization as it is the mission, duty, and purpose of You Action Services, Inc to address, educate, coordinate and provide tools to children who have been impacted by losing their home. The services we plan to provide include After-School program; mentoring program; summer day camp; and therapeutic services. We are connecting with professionals to help fulfill our mission and also taking necessary steps to become an outpatient clinic under article 31.
