Position Description

In this role, the Salesforce Administrator role for Sea Save Foundation has a proven track record in understanding data importation, excel spreadsheet experience, APP integration, and Salesforce architecture. It would also be great if you have experience with implementation, analysis, and other support duties.

Essential Functions of the Volunteer Position

  • Create, delete, and administer users in Salesforce
  • Create and administer organizational configurations in Salesforce
  • Configure objects and fields
  • Configure reports and dashboards
  • Collaborate with the Sea Save Foundation Salesforce team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Salesforce Configuration and Administration;
  • Integrations
  • Data Loader
  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator; Salesforce Certified App Builder (bonus )
  • Be willing and eager to proactively seek and accept help from inside and outside the organization. Can work independently.
  • Focused on the end goal and in a timely matter.
  • Minimum volunteer hours expected: 10-20 hrs. per week ( We want to complete this ASAP)
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, able to communicate clearly and consistently
  • Reliable internet connection a must
  • Proficiency in all areas of Google Apps such as Drive, Sheets, etc.
  • Familiarity with Salsa Labs is a bonus.

Description

Sea Save Foundation approaches conservation from two fronts:

  1. We develop and promote inspiring educational campaigns that showcase the beauty of ocean flora and fauna and underscore the current challenges facing our marine ecosystems.
  2. We couple serious environmental issues with concrete advocacy campaigns undertaken by our supporters and partners. With these programs, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of ocean conservation and create sustainable, healthy ecosystems for generations to come. It’s your ocean. Do something about it!
