Minds Matter is looking for math tutors to help our junior class on the SAT. The tutoring will take place between 10:00 am - 12:30 pm EST on Saturday now until end of April 2023. There is no set time commitment, just sign up for the Saturdays you can make it. The tutoring topics will be sent to you ahead of the session.
Minds Matter Detroit is a college prep program that helps low-income students get into their best fit college through SAT prep, mentoring, and summer enrichment programs.
This position can be virtual or in-person.

Description
Minds Matter brings bright and motivated high school students together with dedicated mentors to help them achieve academic excellence, expand educational horizons and ultimately gain acceptance to college. This is accomplished in a 3-year program that includes 32 Saturday sessions (half academic and half mentoring) per year and 2 Summer program.
There are three program components that differentiate Minds Matter from other organizations: academic instruction, individualized mentoring support, and summer enrichment programs.
