Serving as a board member is a very serious responsibility and time commitment. Please note that only candidates who complete our online application will be considered for this remote volunteer board position.
Board member positions are unpaid volunteer positions. IRS regulations do not allow nonprofit board members to be compensated for their services. Federal law requires all board members to fundraise and pay memberships dues and fees to the nonprofit charity organization.
Serving as a member of the board of directors is a serious oversight role. Selected board members are certified with the state and must ensure the nonprofit organization's charity mission is being carried out in the most efficacious way.
