We are committed to helping communities, government organizations and business leaders ensure AGE Equity in the workplace through education, training and process evaluation.

The Marketing and Communications lead is responsible for managing the marketing and communications needs of the organization. Working closely with the Executive Director, the position is responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of a marketing plan, and managing effective communications systems to include web, social, print, and digital communications. Develops content and directs creative execution to provide a consistent, targeted, and impactful message. This person is primarily responsible for centralizing communications plans, strategies, and processes and tying it to uniform messaging and branding that establishes AEA as the leading subject matter experts for age and aging in the workplace.

Collaborate with ED and Ops and Strategy team to plan and set goals for programs and services
Develop and execute marketing communications strategy to brand AEA as SME's for the topic of age and aging in the workplace; attract potential clients for AEA service offerings; engage potential donors and sponsors and recruit and manage a team of volunteers responsible for content creation, social media and customer relationship management.

Supervises and helps develop staff to support Marketing Communication Goals and objectives.

Qualifications: Education/Experience in marketing, journalism, public relations; experience in developing and managing a marketing department or ready to take your next career step in managing a department. English language competency required. Experience providing written content for different media platforms; specific experience as a journalist is especially desire-able. Possesses a sense of urgency, self-motivated and detail minded. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and customer relations. Ability to research and develop an understanding of the emerging print and online communication avenues and tools. Must be able to set targets and measure results. Experience with team building, training and development desired.
