Chi-Town GVP Summit is a youth-run nonprofit project under fiscal sponsorship. We are dedicated to helping youth activists working on gun violence prevention not associated with larger groups.
We are currently recruiting team members for our outreach team.
Responsibilities include;
- Sponsorship Proposal Creation
- Overseeing our Coalition Program
- Outreach to Companies (Big & Small)
- Outreach to Likeminded nonprofit organizations
- Presentation of Sponsorship Proposals to Nonprofits & Companies
Note; This is not a exhaustive list of responsibilities and is subject to change based upon input by Board of Directors, Executive Director and outreach director.

Chi-Town Gun Violence Prevention Summit aims to bring engaged and active youth together in an environment that stimulates creativity and inspiration so that they can collaborate and work towards a common goal of preventing gun violence -- especially focusing on youth in Chicago and youth of color that go unnoticed.
Description
Chi-Town GVP Summit is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to protecting all children from gun violence in schools, homes, and communities. CTGVPS champions a holistic policy platform that promotes gun safety, youth mental health, and violence prevention education, along with working with youth activists to end gun violence in their communities. The organization works at the state and federal level to pass nonpartisan legislation through inclusive partnerships, diverse grassroots education, and community mobilization
