ORGANIZATION: A-I-R PROJECT

A.I.R. Project is seeking volunteers who have experience in curriculum writing/design/creation. The selected volunteer(s) will assist us with improving, drafting, formulating, and designing a curriculum structure for our organization to use in our program(s) that we provide to youth and the community.

Individual(s) must have:

  • writing skills,
  • experience with some form of technical writing
  • knowledge of creating curriculum
  • creative skills
  • analytical skills
  • communication skills
Individual(s) must be able to work cohesively, independently, and collaboratively.
Individual(s) must be punctual and have time management skills.

The time period for this opportunity is dependent upon the completion process, however is estimated to be around 3-6 months. The weekly time commitment can be established when the volunteer is selected.

Interested persons should also submit or will be requested to submit a writing sample or sample of curriculum created in pdf format to air@abuseisreal.com.

Description

We are humanitarians helping and educating victims and at risk youth and young adults (ages 8-18) of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, bullying and other forms of abuse and violence.

We believe that society as a whole is affected rather directly or indirectly when someone is a victim of abuse or violence. We also believe that when we work together and create a joint effort between our victims and communities that we can have stronger homes, communities, and societies.
