On my morning jogs through Reston, VA there is one stretch of the Washington and Old Dominion Trail that is covered with trash. Very annoying to see beer bottles, Jose Cuervo Tequila bottles, chip bags, etc. on my morning jog.. so I got a trash picker upper on Amazon and took an hour to pick up a bunch of the trash. I ended up getting 3 bags full, and literally just scratched the surface. Let's clean up the remainder of the trash on this stretch of the WOD trail. Please RSVP to help out! Barbera Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote positive change by inspiring others to engage in the community and help those less fortunate.
I n order to accomplish this mission, Barbera Foundation organizes a wide variety of events that unite people from all walks of life. From delivering care packages of food and supplies to the homeless and preparing Thanksgiving dinner for those less fortunate during the holiday season, to supporting underprivileged kids with books and school supplies, Barbera Foundation strives to improve the lives of those in need to make the community as a whole, a better place for everyone.
