This is a virtual telecommuting role, so you can be anywhere in the world, and you will have full flexibility to do the work any time of the day or night. Experience is not needed.

We are an innovative nonprofit working on many exciting projects that are described below. About 90% of our work is done by volunteers, including our executive director who volunteers full-time. We have many new websites we're ready to build, and we also have numerous volunteers who want to help create them. So we need a project manager who can do the following:

• Assign projects and tasks to volunteers
• Assess their completed work and give them feedback
• Give them access to our websites and the web apps we use, and remove access when they're done
• Write recommendations and reference letters for volunteers who have done good work
• Interact with the senior managers who are in charge of the areas in which the projects are being done

Previous experience is not needed. The requirements for this role are:

* Being thorough and paying attention to details
* Good at written communication and at strategizing
* Ability to organize sizable amounts of information and tasks
* Being somewhat tech savvy: enough to use web apps and to be able to record information into a spreadsheet. You don't need to know how to code, or do graphics or anything technically hard to do.
* Ability to commit to at least ten hours per week for at least nine months. A year or longer would be better if possible because it's important for us to keep turnover to a minimum, especially for an important role like this. It will take some time for us to train you and for you to learn everything.

Most of the project management will involve volunteers who doing writing, editing, user experience (UX) design and graphic design for a variety of new websites that we are creating. You don't need experience in any of those areas.

Having a good eye for whether a web page looks good and the text flows smoothly would help but is not needed. This is because we've come up with a system in which the volunteers can give feedback to you on the work that other volunteers have done. Then you can give that feedback to people to help them improve their pages.

For example, when a writer drafts the text for a page, you can send the draft to two other writers. Then you can share some or all of their feedback with the original writer. You can of course give your own feedback too.

If you want to get a sense of what we're doing, here are some of our websites that are live, in beta or in initial development. They fall into three broad groups:

1) a group of innovative websites to provide other nonprofits (and their supporters) with unique tools they can use to raise money for their causes. This link below gives an overview: click the "See More" buttons at the end of the sections. In the future, each logo will go to a unique website focused on that fundraising tool. About half of the logos are already linked to sites that are either done or in progress:
