Good Day my name is Dinlitha Banks and I am the Executive Director of Living for Tomorrow, Inc (LFTI) we are a nonprofit organization that is designed to be a Female Residential Reentry Center. We are currently working on two major projects and we need the assistance of very diligent volunteers. We are hosting our very first Fundraiser since COVID ripped through the world. We are also hosting our very 1st annual Holiday gift drive. We are looking for brilliant minds who are willing to devote their time as we do. We want to make the event EPIC and we need your help to do so. The project will last 30 - 120 days. This project will include locating donors as well as being a part of the events in December, interacting with various organizations on behalf of LFTI. We are looking for fun, hard-working upbeat people who love a challenge. Serious inquiries need only apply.

To obliterate recidivism one woman at a time by providing female offenders with the relevant resources to gain or further their education, acquire jobs, rehabilitate from drug and alcohol abuse, reconcile with their families, and get the social-economic stability necessary to help them successfully re-enter society.

Description

LFTI is designed to be a Minority/Women ran Female Residential Reentry Center (RRC). We will at any given time house the minimum of 25 women however we will have to the capacity to house up to 50 reentry eligible women. We will offer an array of programs including Literacy, Culinary, GED, Job readiness, and training when applicable. Our goal is to reunite families and communities with women who are ready to change their lives after being incarcerated and will help us Obliterate Recidivism one Woman at a time.
