TCC Beach Walk 2019

We are looking for volunteers to assist us at our Farmers Market that we have for our community/patients every Wednesday from 8am-3pm (with a break for lunch). Here is some additional information:

Responsibilities: Assist with produce sorting, bagging, distribution of produce and clean up (includes sweeping and breaking down boxes)

Requirements:

  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Transportation to drive from Bellflower clinic site to distribution site (either Vasek Polak or Hamilton clinic sites)
  • Punctual
  • Flexible

Description

The Childrens Clinic, "Serving Children and Their Families" (TCC) is a non-profit Community Health Center dedicated to providing comprehensive health care in a culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate manner to medically underserved, low-income and high-risk populations in Long Beach and surrounding communities. TCC provides medical care and counseling for well-child visits; acute and chronic care; community outreach and education; immunizations; laboratory testing; prescribed medications; linkage to community resources and an Adult Clinic.
