We are looking for volunteers to assist us at our Farmers Market that we have for our community/patients every Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Before emailing the volunteer coordinator, please be sure that you are available to volunteer on this day during this time frame. There are currently no other ongoing, on-site volunteer opportunities besides this one.

Here is some additional information about this volunteer opportunity:

We invite teens, college graduates, and adults of all ages who are seeking internship experience with agriculture or food-related practice to help us out! (Minimum age is 15 years old)

Responsibilities: Assist with produce sorting, bagging, distribution of produce, and clean up (includes sweeping and breaking down boxes)

Requirements:

  • Able to lift at least 15-30 pounds
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Transportation to drive from the Bellflower clinic site to the distribution site (either Vasek Polak or Hamilton clinic sites)
  • Punctual
  • Availability on Wednesdays
Additional requirements to volunteer at TCC:
  • Minimum age of 15
  • Volunteer Application
  • Background check
  • Copy of your ID
  • Proof of Yearly Physical
  • Must complete online training (HIPAA, Mandated Policies & Procedures)
  • Copy of Resume
  • MMR Vaccination
  • HEP B Vaccination
  • Yearly Influenza Vaccination (Flu Shot, declination form provided if flu shot isn't received)
  • TDAP Vaccination
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (including booster)

  • 08:00 AM to 01:30 PM
    Farmer's Market Schedule is every Wednesday from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm at three of our clinic sites: Atlantic, Bellflower, and Hamilton
