The American Red Cross is helping those affected by the recent wildfires by providing shelter and a safe place to stay.
Join us as a Shelter Worker to welcome and register clients or assist with dormitory needs, providing comfort kits, blankets, cots, etc as requested and with the guidance of their site Supervisor. Shelter workers may be asked to sanitize surfaces (such as tables, chairs, etc.) and follow all other safety protocols in accordance with Red Cross COVID-19 requirements. Workers may have to lift up to 30lbs. Masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer will be provided. Water, snacks, and 1 meal will also be provided.
Please begin by registering at https://volunteerconnection.redcross.org/intake. Once registered, you will be able to sign up for shifts at your convenience.
