Social Impact Center

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

The YMCA Social Impact Center operates a number of transitional homes, permanent supportive housing units, and shelter housing programs to young people throughout King County. During the holiday season, we offer the opportunity for community members to prepare and/or purchase a meal for our residents. We try to provide at least one meal towards the end of the month in both November and December. Volunteer to cook-a-holiday meal for the residents in our housing programs. Meals are to be prepared off-site and delivered or coordinated to be picked up by a Y staff member to distribute to the relevant housing site.

There are a total of eight housing sites we are supporting with a range of residents from a five-person household to a forty-unit complex. Volunteers can select projects that are within their interest and capacity.
