We are in immediate need of a proofreader to proof our our e-magazine. The proofreaders will also be needed at a later time for proofing future e-magazine editions, announcements, and other online and printed educational materials.
Our organization realizes the importance of detail and accuracy and greatly appreciates anyone who is willing to share their expertise in this area. Because of the nature of the content of our e-magazine, we prefer someone who has a medical background.
Must have Microsoft Word and Microsoft Publisher.
Our current e-magazine needs proofing ASAP.
We greatly appreciate your consideration.

AGMD is a nonprofit international organization that serves as an integral educational resource for digestive motility diseases and disorders. It also functions as an important information clearinghouse for members of the medical, scientific and nutritional communities. In addition, AGMD provides a forum of support for patients (and their families) suffering from digestive motility diseases and disorders.
AGMD provides information, resources, education, networking, and support regarding digestive motility disorders.
We currently hold virtual support group meetings, educational presentations and materials, as well as inspirational online interviews and virtual programs featuring professionals in the medical, scientific, and nutritional communities. Pre-Covid-19, the organization held in-person conferences for patients & their family member and in-person support group meetings.
We are continuing to develop new programs in education, outreach, awareness, & support while also creating new opportunities for encouraging better diagnosing, treatment, & research of digestive motility disorders.
AGMD was started by a long-time patient, who after many years of misdiagnosis, was finally found to have chronic idiopathic intestinal pseudo-obstruction. Over the years, her disease has progressed to include her entire digestive tract. She also suffers from a myriad of other diseases & medical conditions affecting her neurological, muscular, circulatory, skeletal & endocrine systems. As a result of her journey with disease, she has been privileged to dedicate her life to AGMD.
We'll work with your schedule.
This is a Virtual Opportunity, with no fixed address.
