Edu-Futuro’s original program (formerly known as Escuela Bolivia) is a well-established academic program focused on Spanish Language acquisition and cultural enrichment. The Program was started by Bolivian parents in 1999 to support their children’s academic achievement. This program attracts both native and non-native Spanish speakers.

Play a role in the development of students’ language skills and academic achievement. Build up your resume with educational experience that involves teaching practices based on a research-based curriculum:
Tutors with the Spanish School act in a supporting role to teachers in order to promote Spanish language acquisition, cultural enrichment, and cross-cultural awareness between native and non-native Spanish speakers. Volunteers will review the lesson recorded by the teacher, and meet with students in small groups or one-on-one to assist with classroom activities and projects assigned by the teacher. Tutors are required to complete a weekly assessment form for each student at the end of each live tutoring session.

If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer Tutor, please submit an application at https://edu-futuro.salsalabs.org/volunteers/index.html and email your resume to Milena Jeffers at volunteer@edu-futuro.org
