International Center for Immigration and Development (ICD) is a small 501(3)c non-profit located in El Cajon, San Diego, CA. We were founded in 2014 by Jawdat AlObeidi and our purpose is to serve the immigrant and low income community in San Diego. We are currently not funded or receive any grants. Our profits are derived from services that we offer to the community at low cost prices. Our services are focused on unemployment, rental assistance, education, and legal services. We try to help the immigrant community meet their basic needs and improve their lives. We serve our community.

We are looking for a social media manager that can post advertisements on our Facebook pages and groups. The ideal person will have a phone/computer with internet service and has a Facebook Account. We will give you the login information for the account that you will post from. You will not be posting from your own personal Facebook account.

It would be preferable that you are comfortable with social media- at least with Facebook as this position requires that you are active on Facebook. You will only post on Facebook and nowhere else.

You would pick one day of the week that you are available to work and from 10am-3pm, you will be posting one or two ads per hour. The ads are already made for you. You will also respond to comments that people make in the ads and follow-up. You're not going to be working all the time but rather checking the app once every hour or so. You can do other things like go to appointments and what not, it's flexible.

Training and orientation will be provided.

This is virtual and ongoing meaning that you can do it from anywhere as long as you have internet and a computer/phone to use Facebook with. Anyone can apply and from anywhere.

There is also the option of coming into our office and doing the work from there if you would like to be more sociable or if you need a computer and internet access. Our office is open and we are located in downtown El Cajon, San Diego. However, this is only if you are comfortable and would like to work from the office but it is not necessary.
