At Bridge Hospice we believe in extending excellence while we are serving our community. Our office and medical team staff have a goal and that is to provide our patients and family members with care that is centered around needs and concerns. Respecting patients dignity and values.
With that in mind we need a couple of volunteers that are able to manage work on an administrative level. We stay in contact with our patients via admissions binders, communications whether cards, phone calls or face to face visits. Actual visits are limited at this time due to Covid. But we see the need to stay in contact with people making them feel that they are important all their life, not just the last part of their life.
Working in an office atmosphere. You will assist our case managers with Volunteer duties that are medically centered. Creating our admissions binders. Writing and fulfilling written contact with family members that are bereaved. We have many aspects of hospice that are ongoing and take place in our office. If you know basic office skills, how to work a copier, and have the ability to serve, please take a moment and think about volunteering for us.
The time commitment can be 2 - 4 hours a week. We take your schedule and your time commitments into account when setting up a schedule.

Bridge is a patient and family centered hospice that is dedicated to "connecting" our patients and their families to excellent End-of-Life Care.
We have patients located throughout the Palm Springs area in a variety of settings.
Bridge's goal is to ensure that every patient in our care is provided with the best team of people possible, and that includes volunteers!
Our administrative office is located in downtown Palm Springs. We are always looking for volunteers wanting to assist in the office.
