NAAAP-Chicago is seeking volunteers for our Women in NAAAP Program. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience for a career in Program Management by accomplishing independent tasks.

We are looking for someone who is not only organized but also motivated. Someone who can complete tasks with little supervision and takes initiative. Someone who is comfortable with trying new things. Someone who can help us make our NAAAP brand one of high potential and make an impact in the Asian American community. Ideally, if you currently do not reside in Chicago, you have some ties to Chicago or are very familiar with our city.

Responsibilities include:

  • Organizing events and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
  • Managing long-term goals.
  • Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Working with social media, marketing, and event coordinators as needed.

About Women in NAAAP (WiN)
Women in NAAAP (WiN) is a special leadership program created and developed to build competent and confident women leaders within NAAAP and the Asian community.

WiN strives to develop Asian American women to support their advancement in the workplace. We aim to be a valuable resource for our members with initiatives focused on leadership and career advancement tailored to Asian American women, including raising awareness of barriers to success and providing a network of role models in a breadth of industries.

The Chicago chapter of the National Association of Asian American Professionals is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3), Pan-Asian American professional organization that promotes the career advancement and leadership development of Asian American professionals in all fields through networking, respecting Asian multi-culturalism, and supporting diversity and community service.

NAAAP is the largest and fastest growing Asian American professional organization in the U.S. and Canada. Through its committees, members can participate in many activities that joins other Asian American professionals in community service, cultural awareness, and professional development.
