We are seeking a computer and social media proficient volunteer, who working from home,
will perform a key function for the Dedham Food Pantry.

  • This role requires proficiency with email, social media experience and on occasions making phone calls coordinating Pantry Trustee shifts.
  • Review upcoming volunteer shifts on SignUp Genius.
  • Reach out to trustees, trustee assistants & recruit volunteers through Facebook and Twitter outreach.
  • Send a weekly email reminder prior to shift
Your schedule is flexible. We are asking you to commit 5-7 hours per week over 3 days.
You will be trained over Zoom by the trustee responsible for Volunteering.
Our grant requires us to enlist volunteers age 55 or older.

Candidates need the Dedham area are preferred.

Norfolk County RSVP has volunteer opportunities for people aged 55 & over in 28 cities and towns at over 50 volunteer sites. Volunteer opportunities include mentoring pre-release inmates, tutoring elementary school children, drivers for Veterans, meals on wheels and food pantires, friendly visiting, non-profit support services and many more! N.C. RSVP will find the volunteer opportunity that best fits your interests & schedule and impacts the needs that are most critical to our county's communities. N.C. RSVP provides mileage reimbursement, accident & liability insurance, an invitation to our annual recognition event, monthly newsletters, orientation & training.
