To improve the lives of members in the community by: -providing resources to participants in the foster care system by providing necessities and -to also empower community members to enter, remain and advance in the workplace by providing professional attire and other resources to those in need.
SBF was founded in the in the Fall of 2019, even though the calling was made at least 10 years prior to that. There is a two fold purpose for SBF. One- Foster children have unique needs when they enter the system. Most are thrust into a situation where they do not know the people that they are being placed with, and with very little, if any personal belongings. We aim to help to fill that gap by providing resources to them. Two- individuals who may be seeking employment, may not have the resources that they need in order to be successful. Our aim is to assist them in acquiring those resources that will help them to not only enter the workforce, but to also thrive within the workforce.
