Each family will be connected with a mentor who is a professional in the community. The family will work with the mentor to develop and carry out an action plan meet their individual and family goals. Using their plans as a guide, families will participate in program activities and take advantage of opportunities created to help them achieve their specific goals.
Due to the pandemic all events & volunteering opportunities will be online.

Mission Statement
Families to College cultivates family bonds and improves academic and employment success in Cumberland County through a comprehensive whole-family mentoring program. Due to the pandemic all events & volunteering opportunities will be online.

Each family will be connected with a mentor who is a professional in the community. Mentor Requirements:
- Have a college degree. (Associates, Bachelors, Masters, PhD,etc.)
- Have an authentic interest in engaging with Cumberland County families and helping them to achieve their goals.
- Are trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Are sensitive to cultural differences and the needs of individual families.
- Are patient, empathetic, and ready to listen and respond to families without judgement.
